Covid 19 Safety Protocols
Updated 29th June 2020
We are delighted to announce the re-opening of our salon on Saturday 4th July and all of us here at Team Cream are excited to be welcoming our lovely clients back after such a long time.
Obviously we have had to put into place some extra measures to ensure the health and safety of both our staff and our customers and we would ask you kindly to observe these new ‘rules’ for as long as they are necessary.
1) Making an appointment.
If you are not already on our list then please contact the salon by phone ( 01424844675) or by the contact form on our website ( www.creamhairsalon.co.uk) to make an appointment. You may also contact us via social media.
PLEASE NOTE THAT APPOINTMENTS CANNOT BE MADE IN PERSON IN THE SALON.
2) Your appointment
In order to satisfy social distancing guidelines we will not have any waiting area inside the salon, so on the day of your appointment please arrive as close to your time as possible, WITHOUT BEING LATE, as this may affect our ability to complete your treatment.
On arrival, you will be greeted at the door by one of the team who will ask you to use the hands-free sanitizer before being shown to a seat. If you are wearing a coat then please bring a bag to put it in as there will be no coat stand available.
IF YOU FEEL AT ALL UNWELL ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT, REGARDLESS OF THE SYMPTOMS, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SALON BUT CALL US TO RE-ARRANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT WHICH WILL BE TREATED AS A PRIORITY.
3) During your appointment
The work station that you sit at will have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before you sit down and all equipment such as brushes, combs and scissors will be electronically sanitized between clients. You will be given a fresh gown to wear and only disposable towels will be used. We do recommend that you wear a face-covering whilst at the backwash.
4) Drinks and magazines.
We are sorry that we will not be able to offer refreshments of any kind or any magazines but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish to do so.
5) Payment and new appointments
A member of the team will be able to take payment and organise your next appointment whilst you remain at the work station. We are able to accept cash or cards, whichever you prefer.
Staff tip boxes will now be kept at their own stations so if you are able to donate these in cash it would be much appreciated as it will reduce the need for handling when cashing up at the end of the day.
6) Our assurance
As well as the measures described above, please rest assured that our already high standards of hygiene will be scrutinised and revised as necessary and because of this we are pleased to say that our toilet facility will still be available to our clients.
We should like to ask for your co-operation in observing all of the above to ensure that your visit to our salon remains a happy and safe experience.
Thank you, and welcome back.
